Chase singled down the right field line, which helped Waunakee 13U tie the game at two in the top of the third.
Waunakee 13U flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring six runs on two hits to take the lead, 8-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Chase that drove in three.
Bentley led things off on the bump for Mount Horeb Vikings Red 13U. The left-handed pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out none and walking none. Tate led things off on the hill for Waunakee 13U. The starter allowed two hits and two runs over two and one-third innings, striking out three and walking one.
Boden, Braxton, Hayden, Logan, and Chase each collected one hit for Mount Horeb Vikings Red 13U. Hayden, Lincoln, and Chase each drove in one run for Mount Horeb Vikings Red 13U. Bentley stole two bases.
Waunakee 13U piled up 11 hits in the game. Matt, Chase, and Logan each collected two hits for Waunakee 13U. Chase and Calvin each drove in three runs for Waunakee 13U. Jacob stole two bases.
